In Africa, Ghana has a long history of mining, with Gold accounting to 90% of the country’s mineral exports. The Mining industry in Ghana and the sub-region is changing rapidly and requires innovative ways to position and promote the sector to take advantage of the burgeoning, evolving industry.

It is of this view that Ghana Mining Expo Foundation and Partners, SikaFour Mineral in Zimbabwe, and Aurum Global Partners, Ghana and UK, have initiated the Ghana Mining Hub platform, an open innovation initiative aimed at all members of the mining chain to market, promote, trade, Trade, Trace and showcase sustainable development and Technologies.
