Dr. Christiana O. Hood is a Physicist and Teaching Associate at the Department of Physics, University of Cape Coast, Ghana. She completed her B. Sc in 2002, M. Phil in 2010, and Ph. D. in 2018 at the University of Cape Coast. She was awarded a scholarship by International Centre for Theoretical Physics/International Atomic Energy Agency Sandwich Training Educational Programme, Italy (ICTP/IAEA STEP) in 2012 and an award (Blacksmith Institution) with other fellows to undertake a project on “Assessment of Heavy Metal Pollution in water and sediment in the Benya Lagoon, Komenda Edina Eguafo Abrem Municipality (KEEA)-Ghana in 2013.
