Prakash Hinduja, affectionately known as ‘PP’, is Chairman of the Hinduja Group (Europe), and Trustee of the Hinduja Foundation. He is the third son of the late Parmanand Deepchand Hinduja, founder of the Hinduja Group and Foundation. PP plays an active role promoting the Hinduja Group’s international profile and image building activities. He is a partner of the World Economic Forum as well as a visiting participant at the Annual Meetings of the World Bank and International Monetary Fund (IMF), the Africa World Bank forums and the Asian Development Bank. Hinduja Group has been advocating private business collaboration with Japan, India, Africa with Japanese technology and expertise for the economic development of Africa. Hinduja Group has been organising private receptions for African Dignitaries and VIPS during the last decades in Davos during the Annueal Meeting of the World Economic Forum. PP has been meeting Japan Ambassadors in Washington DC, Geneva, New Delhi to foster Japan – India – Africa tripartite business and public private partnership.
