Organisers of the Ghana Gold Expo have warned persons portraying themselves as organisers of the event and are thus defrauding innocent people and institutions to desist from such act.
“It has come to the attention of the organizers of Ghana Gold Expo that entities that are not associated with the event are portraying themselves as such for ill-intents,” organisers of the event stated in a statement.
The statement noted that the right organisers of the Expo are the Western Regional Coordinating Council (Government of Ghana), together with ViewTag Ghana partners of Aurum Monaco.
“Therefore, any entity portraying themselves as organizers of the event and soliciting for funds or wish to deal in gold in the brand name of the Expo should be regarded as fraudsters and must be reported to the appropriate security agencies and Minerals Commission for prosecution. The organisers will therefore not be responsible for any fraudulent act emanating from any of these fraudsters,” the statement added.
